The winner of the previous season deserves it: Mark the winner of the previous season with a medal so that they can enjoy their victory even longer.
How to do it: You go to the admin area and there to Manage members. Click on the player and follow the link "Mark player" at the bottom of the page. Select a medal. The marker will appear in all leaderboards.
By the way, you can make last season's last-place finisher happy with a red lantern or as shown above.
