At the end of the first half of the season, we would like to reset points in our Bundesliga prediction game to start at 0 for the second half. To achieve that, there is several options:
Recommended: "Restart" inside the prediction community
At the end of the season's first half, go to "Restart" and restart the prediction community with the second half. All first half data will be lost!! You may want to save the final leaderboard or print the results.
"Points rules" inside the prediction community
For all first leg matches, one has to give a different points rule than for the second leg. First of all, create a second rule at "Points rules". Select the "Assign individually later" option. The next step is to assign all second leg matches to this second rule.
Eventually, it is possible to edit these rules as you wish. After the first half of the season, one sets the first points rule values to "0". The prediction leaderboard is being re-calculated, nobody earns points for his/her predictions. Everybody has got 0 points and the second half can start. At the very end, one can enable both rules to see the overall leaderboard throughout the entire season.
"General overview" inside the prediction community
The general overview enables you to filter the ranking to specific matchdays. It is possible to filter for matchdays 1-17 to see the result of the first half of the season.
This option is confusing for players as this view and the leaderboard always add up points, whether from the first or second half.
