🏆 Weekly Prize #1: Surprise Package with Aseli Fan Mice

The World Cup 2026 Prediction Challenge is underway – and with it comes your first chance to win a weekly prize!

The prize will be raffled among all participants who have submitted predictions for all matches scheduled up to Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

With a little luck, you could win a carefully curated surprise package filled with Aseli Fan Mice. The 1,100 g black-red-gold bucket contains the popular flavors blueberry, raspberry, and lemon – the perfect nerve food for exciting football nights and nail-biting World Cup moments. 🍬⚽

Aseli is a Berlin-based cult confectionery brand that has been producing its iconic foam sugar mice since 1921 – nine years before the first Football World Cup was held in Uruguay in 1930.

As the organizer of the prediction challenge, Consultingwerk, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, will be watching the German national team's opening match with particular interest. On June 14, 2026, Germany will face Curaçao at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, USA.

A few interesting facts about Curaçao: The Caribbean island, with a population of around 150,000, is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and will be making its first-ever appearance at a Football World Cup. In doing so, Curaçao becomes the smallest nation ever to qualify for the tournament. The team is coached by Dutch football legend Dick Advocaat, whom many German football fans may remember from his time at Borussia Mönchengladbach. The match will also mark the first-ever meeting between Germany and Curaçao.

⚠️ Don't forget to submit your predictions before kick-off!

Good luck with your predictions – and maybe the surprise package with Aseli Fan Mice will soon be on its way to your doorstep. 🦆🏆

Congratulations! Weekly Prize #1 of the Consultingwerk World Cup 2026 Prediction Challenge goes to our fellow participant "HeizerTenner"! 🎉

Weekly Prize #2 – A Stylish Surprise Package

During the opening week of our World Cup Prediction Game, it was all about endurance. Between last-minute goals, VAR drama and unexpected upsets, we handed out a supply of brain food to help everyone survive the emotional rollercoaster of tournament football.

For Week 2, we're turning our attention to another essential part of the game: style.

After all, major tournaments are not only won on the pitch. They are experienced on living room couches, in clubhouses, at public viewing events and on backyard patios. These are the places where fans wear their colours, display their lucky charms and support their teams with the same passion shown by the players themselves.

Jersey or T-shirt? Sunglasses or scarf? Bucket hat or classic cap? Every fan has their own matchday look.

And then, of course, there are the socks.

For many years, German men were famous—or perhaps infamous—for wearing white sports socks with sandals. It was a fashion choice that amused much of the world. Yet, as so often happens, all it takes is a little time, a few influencers and some clever marketing for yesterday's fashion mistake to become tomorrow's trend. Today, sports socks are proudly displayed, carefully styled and often become the centrepiece of an outfit. Football fans might call that the ultimate comeback story.

For those who want to stay on the right side of football fashion, we've selected a true classic: Spirit of 76 Retro Sports Socks.

That's why we're giving away two pairs of socks in different sizes to one lucky participant who submits all predictions during Week 2—one pair for you and one for your favourite football companion.

Why "Spirit of 76"?

Because 1976 deserves a special place in football history.

It was the year Czechoslovakia shocked Europe by winning the UEFA European Championship, and Antonín Panenka created one of football's most iconic moments with his audacious chipped penalty in the final against West Germany. Nearly fifty years later, football fans around the world still refer to that technique simply as "a Panenka."

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich won their third consecutive European Cup, cementing their place among football's elite clubs. Franz Beckenbauer was named European Footballer of the Year once again, further strengthening his legendary status.

Beyond Europe, 1976 was a remarkable year for the global game. In Brazil, a new generation of stars led by Zico was captivating football fans. Argentina was preparing to host the 1978 FIFA World Cup. Across continents, football continued its rise as a truly global language capable of bringing people together regardless of nationality, culture or background.

Almost fifty years later, much has changed. Jerseys are lighter, stadiums are smarter and analytics are more sophisticated than ever.

What remains unchanged is the joy of predicting, debating and celebrating the beautiful game together.

Good luck with your predictions – you might soon be the proud owner of a pair of beautiful retro socks!

Congratulations! Weekly Prize #2 of the Consultingwerk World Cup 2026 Prediction Challenge goes to our fellow participant "DavidC"! 🎉

We hope you enjoy your surprise package featuring stylish Spirit of 76 retro socks, and wish you continued success with your World Cup predictions! ⚽🧦

The next match, the next prediction, and the next weekly prize are already waiting for you. 🍀🏆

Weekly Prize #3 – Sweet Fuel for the Final Group Stage! 🍬⚽

The group stage of the FIFA World Cup is entering its decisive phase—and this is exactly why we love this tournament.

The first knockout places have already been secured. Germany has qualified despite yesterday's 2–1 defeat against Ecuador, while Brazil, Mexico and the Netherlands have also booked their places in the Round of 32. For others, however, the World Cup dream is already over. Scotland, Haiti and Curaçao are heading home, while several groups will only be decided in the final round of matches.

Spectacular goals, controversial VAR decisions, bold coaching choices and dramatic late winners keep football fans talking around the world. Yet despite all the tactics, statistics and predictions, one timeless football saying still rings true:

The ball is round.

Sometimes it's colourful, too.

That's why Week 3 of the Consultingwerk World Cup Prediction Game features another surprise package of matchday treats. Everyone who submits all of their Week 3 predictions will be entered into the draw to win a colourful selection of Haribo Pico Balla and Hitschler Brause UFOs.

These sweets have long been part of everyday life for generations of Germans—and, just like football, they have become part of countless shared memories. Whether on local football pitches, at swimming pools, during club celebrations or in front of the TV on match day, there was almost always a bowl of colourful sweets close by.

Their history even overlaps with football history. When Hans Riegel founded HARIBO in Bonn in 1920—the name is simply an abbreviation of HAns RIegel BOnn—Germany held its first national football championship after World War I. 1. FC Nürnberg won the final against SpVgg Fürth, marking the beginning of a new era for German football. A few years later, when the roots of Hitschler were established in Cologne, Fürth was still one of Germany's dominant clubs, winning another national championship in 1929.

Football and sweets became part of everyday life at almost exactly the same time—one on the football pitch, the other in the pockets of the fans watching from the sidelines.

Haribo would later become world-famous for its fruit gummies, while Hitschler earned its place in childhood memories with colourful creations such as the famous Brause UFOs. Together, they still add a little colour to every match day—and make the wait for the next kick-off just a little sweeter.

We wish you steady nerves for the final group-stage matches, good luck with your predictions, and the best of luck in this week's prize draw.

Perhaps the surprise package will soon be on its way to you! 🍀🏆🍬

🎉 Congratulations!

💡 Weekly Prize #4 – May the Light Come On!

The World Cup is starting to take its toll.

The group stage is long behind us, and today the quarter-finals begin. After weeks of excitement, drama, and late-night matches, we're all beginning to feel the strain. It turns out it's not only the players who need a little recovery.

Questionable refereeing decisions, nerve-racking penalty shootouts, surprise coaching changes, endless debates, and headlines off the pitch have kept football fans talking throughout the tournament. Many favorites have already been eliminated—perhaps even the team you've been cheering for.

And then there are your predictions...

Sometimes you're spot on. Sometimes you wonder what your AI was actually thinking. 😄

Maybe what you really need is a little inspiration.

Or, as we say in German: "May a light go on!"

That's why our Week 4 prize is designed to do exactly that.

Everyone who submits all of their predictions for Week 4 will be entered into a drawing to win the stylish Ole portable LED lamp from REMEMBER®—perfect for relaxing summer evenings on your patio, balcony, in the garden, or by the pool.

REMEMBER® was founded in 1996 in Krefeld, a city in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. What started with a modern interpretation of the classic memory game has grown into an internationally recognized design brand known for its vibrant colors, timeless aesthetics, and beautifully crafted everyday products.

Our advice for the final stages of the tournament:

😴 Get some rest.
⚽ Enjoy the remaining matches.
💡 And hopefully, the right predictions will suddenly light up your mind.

We're keeping our fingers crossed that the beautiful REMEMBER® Ole lamp will soon brighten your summer evenings.

Good luck—and enjoy the quarter-finals! 🍀🏆💡

🎉 Congratulations!

⚓ Weekly Prize #5 – Ahoy, Final Stretch!

Only a few matches remain before the Consultingwerk World Cup 2026 Prediction Challenge reaches its grand finale.

Our three Consultingwerk pirates have sailed through weeks of exciting matches. Some favorites have gone overboard, while others are still on course for the trophy. Just like on the high seas, football often comes down to a single moment that can change everything.

Maybe your predictions have found the net over the past few weeks—just like a perfectly placed shot flying into the goal. Or perhaps you've already landed a few valuable catches on your journey through the tournament.

If so, this sweet pirate treasure could soon be yours!

Everyone who submits all of their Week #5 predictions will be entered into a drawing to win two delicious classics:

🐟 A bucket of Aseli Sea Animal Mix filled with colorful marshmallow sea creatures.

⚓ A bucket of Ahoj-Brause Fizz Candy Sticks, delighting generations with their unmistakable fizzy taste.

Both brands have a long tradition. Aseli was founded in 1921 in Berlin and is still famous for its lovingly crafted marshmallow creations. Ahoj-Brause, introduced almost a century ago, became a true German confectionery classic, first as a fizzy drink powder and later as the iconic sweets enjoyed by generations of children and adults alike.

Now the tournament enters its decisive stage.

⚓ Stay the course.
⚽ Trust your football instincts.
🍬 Enjoy the final matches.
🏆 And with a little luck, not only will your predictions find the net, but this sweet pirate treasure may also be yours.

We wish you the best of luck for the final rounds of the Consultingwerk World Cup 2026 Prediction Challenge.

Fair winds, following seas... and may your predictions always find the net! 🍀🏆🏴‍☠️⚽
