Restart the prediction game

After the season has ended and has been evaluated, you can easily migrate to a new season for the prediction game. With just a few clicks. Like this:

Feature "Restart"

In the administrator area is the menu section "Restart". It enables you to set up a new season for the game. After the restart, all points are reset to 0 and it starts all over again. If needed, you can later add questions or change settings or game rules.

CAVEAT: be careful with some things:

Really wait until the prediction is over

One should only "restart" the prediction game after its end. But even after that, one should still wait a couple of weeks as some players like to take a last look at the final leaderboard. Best is to notify the players in advance to state the deadline and when the restart will be performed.

Save the final leaderboard

Since the restart deletes all predictions and points, you may want to save or print the leaderboard.

Save all member data

Be careful if you enable the "Delete all members" option! All members data will be deleted irrevocably.

If you want to send an e-mail to the members, export the player and e-mail list before restarting. To do so go to Data export in the admin area.
